Tania Re is Psychologist, Medical Anthropologist and expert in naturopathic medicine. She is Founder Member of the Unesco Chair “Health Anthropology, Biosphere and Healing systems” inside the University of Genoa (IT) and she is currently researcher by the Tuscany regional centre for phytoteraphy, Center for Integrative Medicine, Careggi Hospital, Florence named CERTIF (IT). She is a psychologist with a postgraduate in Sport Psychology and a specialization in Hypnosis, Counselling and Natural Medicine. She teaches Ethnomedicine and Medical Anthropology. The research interests are focused to understand the systems coming from old medical traditions connecting mind, body and spirit to promote the healing process in the contemporary health system. To understand this complexity she works inside an international research network that involves physicists, medical doctors, biologist and anthropologists. She continues doing her field research in South America in the Amazonian Forest.
